Ούπα επέκτασης Fischer S 5

The Fischer Expansion plug S 5 is a durable nylon fixing element designed for secure anchoring in solid building materials. Made from high-quality grey nylon, the S 5 plug is 25 mm long and intended for a 5 mm drill hole with a minimum drill depth of 35 mm. Supplied in packs of 100, this rimless plug is suitable for both pre-positioned and push-through installation and is commonly used for fastening picture frames, lights, lightweight wall cabinets and electrical installations.

Advantages

The expansion plug S is manufactured from robust nylon, which provides high resistance during installation and long-term dimensional stability. Its two-directional expansion can be oriented by rotating the plug, allowing the expansion forces to run parallel to the edge of the base material to reduce the risk of spalling near edges. The rimless design simplifies insertion and the anti-rotation lock prevents the plug from turning in the drilled hole, improving installation safety and reliability.

Suitable for

• Fixing picture frames and wall decorations
• Mounting lights and small fixtures
• Installing lightweight wall cabinets and shelves
• Securing electrical boxes and conduit clips

• Material: Nylon (grey)
• Drill hole diameter: 5 mm
• Length: 25 mm
• Minimum drill depth: 35 mm
• Pack quantity: 100 pieces
• Installation types: pre-positioned and push-through

How to use

Drill a 5 mm diameter hole to a minimum depth of 35 mm in the solid base material. Clean the hole from dust before inserting the plug. For pre-positioned installation, place the fixture and insert the plug through the fixture into the hole; for push-through installation, push the plug fully into the hole and then insert the fixing screw. Turn the plug if needed to align expansion ribs parallel to the edge of the material to reduce spalling. Tighten the screw to the required torque for the chosen fixing element.

Recommendations

Use the Fischer S 5 in solid masonry or concrete. Avoid use in hollow or highly cracked substrates unless a suitable alternative anchor is specified. Always select screw length appropriate for the fixture thickness so that the anchor can expand fully within the base material.
