Οπτικός διαχωριστής Extralink 1:4 PLC SC/APC G.657.A1 1m

Optical Splitter Extralink 1:4 PLC SC/APC G.657.A1 1m is a passive fiber optic splitter for FTTH networks that divides an incoming optical signal into four equal outputs. The device uses a 0.9 mm G.657.A1 pigtail and SC/APC connectors on input and outputs, and is housed in a compact steel box suitable for installation in switches and fiber organizers. The unit is supplied in blister packaging to prevent cable tangling.

Advantages

The Extralink 1:4 PLC splitter provides symmetrical 1:4 power distribution with stable passive performance, compact steel housing for straightforward mounting, and a 1 m FTTH-rated pigtail that simplifies routing and installation. SC/APC connectors ensure reliable mating with APC-terminated equipment, and blister packaging protects the fibers during transport and storage.

Suitable for

• FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) installations
• Passive optical networks (PON) requiring one-to-four splitting
• Fiber optic distribution in cabinets, patch panels and organizers
• Network expansion where a single feed must serve multiple subscribers

How to use

Install the Extralink PLC splitter by securing the steel housing inside the distribution cabinet or switch chassis, route the 0.9 mm pigtail through the organizer to the incoming fiber, and connect fibers using SC/APC mating adapters. Route and fix output pigtails to the downstream ports or patch panel, ensuring proper bend radius and clean connector endfaces before connection.

Recommendations

Before connection, clean connector endfaces and verify fiber continuity and loss with appropriate test equipment. Maintain minimum bend radius for G.657.A1 fibers, avoid tension on pigtails, and store the unit in its blister pack until installation to prevent tangling and contamination.
