Televes SK100/250plus 1.0/4.6 mm Alu 250 m is a 250-metre spool of coaxial cable engineered for TV, satellite and broadband signal distribution. The cable features a 1.0 mm central conductor and a 4.6 mm dielectric diameter, with aluminium shielding to provide stable impedance and reliable continuity over long cable runs. Designed for professional and residential installations, this spool supports mass cabling tasks and reduces the need for multiple joins, helping maintain signal quality in distribution networks.

Advantages

The cable offers consistent characteristic impedance and low signal attenuation for long-distance runs, while the aluminium shield balances cost and performance. Its defined conductor and dielectric dimensions ensure predictable electrical behaviour and compatibility with standard F-connector and compression fittings. Supplied on a 250 m spool, it streamlines bulk installations and minimizes the frequency of connector joints, reducing potential points of failure.

Suitable for

• TV signal distribution in multi-room residential and apartment buildings
• Satellite downlink cabling and multiswitch feed lines
• Broadband and cable internet distribution within local networks
• Professional installation projects requiring long continuous runs

Key specifications

• Conductor/core diameter: 1.0 mm
• Dielectric diameter: 4.6 mm
• Shielding material: aluminium
• Length per spool: 250 m
• Cable type: coaxial for RF signal distribution

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 250 m spool, taking care to leave extra length for routing and termination. Strip the outer jacket, braid and dielectric according to the connector manufacturer’s instructions, then fit appropriate connectors (e.g., compression F-type) to ensure proper contact with the 1.0 mm conductor. Route the cable with gentle bends and secure it with cable clips or ties to prevent strain; avoid tight bending radii and exposure to sharp edges. Test continuity and signal level after installation to confirm correct termination and expected performance.

Recommendations

Store the spool in a dry, shaded area to avoid prolonged UV exposure and moisture. For outdoor or buried runs, use additional protective conduit or select a cable variant rated for direct burial. When extending long runs, minimize the number of joins and use high-quality connectors and accessories to preserve signal integrity.
