OM2 Duplex MM Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ProXtend FO-SCSCOM2D-0015 1,5 m

The ProXtend OM2 Duplex MM Fiber Cable (FO-SCSCOM2D-0015) is a 1.5 m SC–SC duplex multimode patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in local networks. It features a 50 µm glass core and LSZH jacket, supporting full duplex communication with low attenuation suitable for data centre and office interconnects across moderate distances and bandwidth-heavy links.

Advantages

The cable uses OM2 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core for reliable multimode performance and low signal loss. SC connectors on both ends provide a secure and standardised connection. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke and halogen release in case of fire, and the cable is rated to operate in temperatures from -20 °C to 70 °C.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches and servers
• Office LAN interconnects and backbone segments
• High-bandwidth short- to medium-distance links within buildings

How to use

Route the duplex OM2 cable between SC ports on networking equipment, matching transmit and receive pairs as required by the devices. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion to minimise signal loss. Secure the cable to cable management points to avoid tight bends; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre during installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in data centre and office environments, use this OM2 duplex cable for short- to medium-range multimode links and combine with properly rated patch panels and transceivers. Regularly inspect and clean SC connectors and avoid sharp bends or mechanical stress to preserve transmission quality.
