Μονάδα πομποδέκτη οπτικών ινών PLANET MGB-TSX

The PLANET MGB-TSX is a mini-GBIC fiber optic transceiver module designed for 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet links. Operating at an 850 nm wavelength, the module supports single-mode and multi-mode fiber environments and is hot-pluggable in SFP (mini-GBIC) MSA-compliant ports. It provides a compact, easy-to-install solution for extending network links up to the distances supported by 1000BASE-SX optics and is suitable for industrial equipment that requires reliable operation across a wide temperature range.

Advantages

The MGB-TSX transceiver is compliant with the SFP Multisource Agreement (MSA) and supports hot-pluggable installation without interrupting host equipment. It delivers 1000 Mbit/s data rate over fiber with an 850 nm wavelength and a compact mini-GBIC interface for straightforward integration into SFP ports. The module is suitable for deployment in industrial environments thanks to its designed tolerance for wide operating conditions.

Suitable for

• 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet fiber links
• SFP/mini-GBIC ports in switches, routers and media converters
• Network upgrades requiring compact, hot-pluggable transceivers

How to use

Insert the MGB-TSX transceiver into an SFP-compliant port on compatible network equipment while the host is powered on; the module is hot-pluggable and will initialize automatically. Connect the appropriate multi-mode fiber patch cord (LC connector) to the transceiver and verify link status LEDs on the host device to confirm a successful connection. Follow the host equipment documentation for interface configuration and diagnostics.

Recommendations

Use the MGB-TSX with compatible SFP ports and multi-mode fiber cabling with LC connectors. Verify supported link distance for your fiber type and follow ESD precautions during handling. For industrial deployments, confirm the host device supports extended operating temperatures if required.
