Μονάδα επέκτασης PoE MITEL 51310702 συσκευασία 6 τεμ., υποστήριξη IEEE-802.1X

MITEL PoE Extension Module 51310702 is supplied as a pack of six modules designed to extend Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability for compatible network devices. The module provides IEEE 802.1X authentication support for managed networks, enabling secure port-level authentication and simplified integration with existing business telephony and network infrastructures. It is intended for use where additional PoE reach or port extension is required without major changes to cabling or power sourcing equipment.

Advantages

The extension module adds PoE reach while maintaining compliance with IEEE 802.1X authentication, supporting centralized access control and secure device provisioning. Supplied in a pack of six, it allows multiple deployments or spare inventory for larger installations. The compact design facilitates integration into standard network cabinets or telephony enclosures and reduces the need for additional power injectors or re-cabling when extending PoE to endpoint devices.

Key specifications

• Function: PoE extension for compatible network endpoints
• Authentication support: IEEE 802.1X for port-level access control
• Package quantity: six identical modules per pack
• Form factor: compact module suitable for rack or enclosure installation
• Compatibility: designed for integration with MITEL telephony and compatible PoE network equipment

How to use

Install the PoE extension module inline between the PoE source and the powered device following standard network cabling practices. Ensure the host switch or power source supports the required PoE class and that IEEE 802.1X authentication is enabled and configured on the network authentication server. After physical installation, verify link, power delivery, and authentication status from the network management interface and adjust switchport settings if necessary to allow correct negotiation and device provisioning.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the module within systems that already implement IEEE 802.1X authentication and maintain consistent PoE provisioning policies. Plan deployment in groups matching the pack quantity to simplify inventory. Verify power budgets on supplying switches to ensure sufficient headroom for connected devices after extension.
