Mikrotik mAP lite, RBMAPL-2ND, 2,4 GHz, PoE, 10/100 Mbit/s, λευκό

The Mikrotik mAP lite (RBMAPL-2ND) is a compact 2.4 GHz wireless access point and travel router with a slim, matchbox-sized design. It supports 802.11 b/g/n, includes a single 10/100 Mbps Ethernet (RJ-45) port and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, and has a low maximum power consumption of 3.5 W. The small white enclosure is intended for portable use, temporary setups and simple network tasks when space is limited.

Advantages

The mAP lite offers an exceptionally small footprint for easy transport and discrete placement. Its PoE capability allows power and data over one cable for simplified installation, while the 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port enables wired connectivity for devices that require it. Low power consumption and support for common 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi standards (802.11 b/g/n) make the device energy-efficient and broadly compatible with legacy and modern clients.

How to use

Connect the mAP lite to a PoE-capable switch or PoE injector using a standard Ethernet cable to provide both power and network connectivity. Configure wireless mode and network settings via MikroTik RouterOS or the device's web/management interface to set SSID, security and operation mode (access point, client, or router). Place the device near the area where improved wireless coverage or a wired Ethernet connection is needed.

Recommendations

For best results, position the mAP lite away from large metal objects and other sources of 2.4 GHz interference. Use PoE for clean installations and ensure the connected switch or injector supports the required PoE standard. For extended coverage or higher throughput, consider a dual‑band or higher‑performance access point instead of this compact 2.4 GHz unit.
