Microconnect V-UTP607-FLAT καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 7 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

Microconnect V-UTP607-FLAT Networking Cable Grey 7 m Cat6 U/UTP is a 7 m flat Cat6 Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10,000 Mbit/s. The cable meets Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz and is backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5. Its flat profile and flexible sheath make it suitable for tight spaces such as IT racks, cabinets, behind baseboards or under carpets. The cable is finished in grey and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends.

Advantages

The flat design reduces space requirements and simplifies routing in confined installations. Tested to Cat6 standard (up to 250 MHz), the cable supports high-speed networking and is compatible with older Cat5e/Cat5 systems. U/UTP construction provides the expected unshielded twisted pair performance while the molded strain-relief boots protect the RJ-45 connectors during installation in narrow channels.

Suitable for

• Wiring in IT racks and network cabinets with limited space
• Routing behind baseboards or along skirting boards
• Installation under carpets or flooring where a low profile is required
• Home and small office Ethernet connections requiring Cat6 performance

How to use

Route the flat cable along the intended path, ensuring it lies flat when placed under baseboards or carpets. Insert RJ-45 connectors into network ports at each end until they click into place. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and do not overstretch the cable. When pulling through narrow channels, guide the cable carefully using the molded strain-relief boots to reduce the risk of connector damage.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended Ethernet length limits and avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines. Use standard Cat6 patching practice and ensure connectors are fully seated; for permanent installations consider securing the cable with low-profile clips to prevent movement under floor coverings.
