Microconnect V-UTP601W-FLAT Καλώδιο δικτύου Λευκό 1 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The MicroConnect V-UTP601W-FLAT is a 1 m U/UTP Cat6 flat networking cable in white designed for installations that require space-saving routing. Its flat profile makes it suitable for running behind skirting boards, under carpets or other floor coverings, and inside densely packed IT racks and cabinets. The cable is tested to 250 MHz (Cat6 standard) and is backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 cabling, supporting reliable data transmission at speeds up to 10 000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

The flat construction reduces profile height and enables discreet installation along walls and under flooring without creating noticeable bumps. U/UTP Cat6 performance ensures transmission up to 250 MHz while maintaining compatibility with older Cat5e and Cat5 systems. The cable includes a molded strain-relief (snagless) connector design to protect the plug during installation in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Routing in narrow channels, behind skirting boards and under carpets
• Space-constrained IT racks and network cabinets
• Home and office Ethernet connections requiring Cat6 performance

Key specifications

• Type: U/UTP Cat6 flat cable
• Length: 1 m
• Color: White
• Test frequency: up to 250 MHz (Cat6)
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10 000 Mbit/s

How to use

Measure the required routing path and lay the flat cable along the surface, pushing it into gaps behind skirting boards or under carpets as needed. Avoid sharp bends and do not exceed the cable's minimum bend radius. When connecting to network equipment, insert the RJ45 connector fully until the latch engages; the molded strain-relief helps prevent damage during installation in confined spaces.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and avoid excessive twisting. Use appropriate cable management in racks and cabinets to prevent compressing the flat cable under heavy equipment.
