Microconnect SSTP6015 Καλώδιο δικτύου Γκρι 1,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SSTP6015 S/FTP Cat6 1.5m Grey is a shielded Cat6 patch cable designed for reliable connections between network devices such as switches, modems and routers, or to infrastructure points like patch panels, keystone jacks and wall outlets. With a length of 1.5 m and a grey jacket, the cable supports high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s and meets Cat6 performance testing up to 250 MHz. Built-in latch protection helps prevent connector damage during tight installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and reduces crosstalk, which helps maintain signal integrity and reduces transmission errors. The cable is backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 devices and is constructed to withstand installation in confined spaces thanks to latch protection on the RJ45 plugs. Its 1.5 m length is suitable for short device-to-device connections in home and office environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, routers, switches and modems over short distances
• Home network and small office LAN setups
• High-speed internet and multimedia streaming applications
• Connections to patch panels, keystone jacks and wall outlets

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (tested up to 250 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened overall with foil and individually shielded pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (manufacturer summary)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Colour: Grey
• Compatibility: Backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5
• Weight: 0.09 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device (for example a router, switch or modem) and the other plug to the target device or infrastructure outlet. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. If routing through tight channels, guide the cable carefully to avoid excessive bending that could stress the conductors or the plug latch.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible. Use this S/FTP Cat6 cable for short-length, high-speed links within home or small office networks and when shielding against EMI is required.
