Microconnect SFTP720Y Καλώδιο δικτύου κίτρινο 20 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The MicroConnect SFTP720Y is a 20 m yellow networking cable built to Cat7 standard with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It provides a reliable point-to-point connection between devices such as switches, modems or routers and can be routed to patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable is suitable for home and small office networks and for entertainment applications requiring high-speed data transmission.

Advantages

Cat7 construction supports testing up to 600 MHz while the supplied RJ-45 connectors are compatible with Cat6a minimum specifications (up to 500 MHz). The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, helping to maintain data integrity and stable transmission rates. The cable features a strain-relief snuggle on the connector to protect the plug during installation in tight spaces. The yellow jacket improves visibility for easy identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems
• Patch panel, keystone jack or wall outlet links
• Home and small office Ethernet networks
• Streaming and entertainment equipment connections

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with braided shielding per pair and overall)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.03 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network device (switch, router or modem) and the other end to the target device, patch panel or wall outlet. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and heavy mechanical stress; use standard cable management accessories to secure runs and maintain bend radius. The RJ-45 connectors are backward compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 ports.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines over long distances, keep termination points dry and secure, and ensure connectors are fully inserted. Use in indoor environments and follow local installation standards for permanent installations.
