Microconnect SFTP720R Καλώδιο δικτύου κόκκινο 20 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP720R is a 20 m networking cable that follows the Cat7 standard with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is designed to connect network devices such as switches, modems, routers or to infrastructure elements like patch panels, keystone jacks and wall outlets. The cable is manufactured in red and built for reliable performance in small office, home network and entertainment installations.

Advantages

The cable is tested to the Cat7 standard (up to 600 MHz) while using Cat6a-compatible RJ-45 connectors, ensuring backward compatibility with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5. S/FTP shielding provides protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and reduces crosstalk, improving signal integrity and reducing transmission errors. A reinforced strain-relief (snagless) design helps protect the connector during installation in confined spaces, and the 20 m length offers flexibility in device placement.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between switches, routers, modems and networked devices
• Patch panel and keystone jack installations
• Home networks and small office LAN setups
• High-bandwidth entertainment equipment and streaming devices

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to a network device (switch, router or modem) and the other RJ-45 plug to the destination device, patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; use cable management accessories such as clips or ties when necessary. For installations in confined spaces, use the cable's snagless strain-relief to protect the connector during routing.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this SFTP720R Cat7 cable with compatible network equipment and maintain connector and patch panel contacts clean and undamaged. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to heavy power lines or large electrical equipment to minimize residual EMI exposure.
