Microconnect SFTP720 Καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 20 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP720 RJ-45 Cat7 20 m Grey is a high-performance networking cable designed for reliable wired connections between devices such as switches, modems, routers and patch panels. This 20 m Cat7 cable features S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, providing stable data transmission for home and small office networks as well as entertainment setups.

Advantages

The SFTP720 offers shielding (S/FTP) that protects against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and reduces crosstalk, supporting improved signal integrity and lower error rates. Although the cable is tested up to 600 MHz according to the Cat7 standard, it is equipped with Cat6a-compatible RJ-45 connectors and is backwards compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 devices. The cable includes a reinforced RJ-45 snaggle/strain relief to reduce connector damage during installation in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links in home and small office networks
• Connecting routers, switches, modems and patch panels
• Wired connections for streaming, gaming and media devices

Key specifications

• Length: 20 m
• Standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends, Cat6a-compatible
• Backward compatibility: Cat6a / Cat6 / Cat5e / Cat5
• Colour: Grey
• Weight: 0.03 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the Microconnect SFTP720 cable to your network device (router, switch or modem) and the other end to the target device or infrastructure point (PC, patch panel or wall jack). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight kinks to maintain shielding effectiveness and signal quality. For installations through confined channels, use the cable’s reinforced strain relief to reduce stress on the connector.

Recommendations

Use the Microconnect SFTP720 for stable wired connections where interference may affect performance; pair it with Cat6a-compatible ports for optimal connector fit. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines to minimize residual interference.
