Microconnect SFTP705W καλώδιο δικτύου λευκό 5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP705W RJ-45 Cat7 5m White is a 5-metre networking cable designed for reliable wired connections between network devices such as switches, routers and modems, or to patch panels and wall outlets. Built to Cat7 performance with S/FTP shielding and terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable supports high-frequency transmission while maintaining compatibility with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 installations.

Advantages

The SFTP705W combines Cat7-standard shielding with RJ-45 terminations to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transfer at high frequencies. Its 5 m length and white jacket make it suitable for visible office or home installations. The cable includes a molded strain relief on each connector to protect the plug during installation in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Home and small office wired networks
• Networked entertainment systems (smart TVs, media players)
• Upgrading existing Cat6/Cat5e runs where improved shielding is desired

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil around pairs with overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Length: 5 m
• Color: White
• Weight: approx. 0.03 kg

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding ports on your network devices (for example, switch to modem or router to wall outlet). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of strong EMI sources where possible. The cable is backwards compatible with Cat6a/Cat6/Cat5e/Cat5 ports and can be used with existing installations that accept RJ-45 terminations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bending radii near the connectors, maintain separation from high-voltage power cables, and test network links after installation to confirm expected throughput and signal quality.
