Microconnect SFTP705R Καλώδιο δικτύου κόκκινο 5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The MicroConnect SFTP705R is a 5 m Cat7 networking cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It provides a reliable wired connection between network devices such as switches, modems and routers, and can be terminated in patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable is designed for small office, home network and entertainment setups and is manufactured with strain relief on the connectors to protect them during installation. Rated to Cat7 standards and tested up to 600 MHz, it is backwards compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5.

Advantages

SFTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and minimizes crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity and lower transmission errors. Cat7 performance and RJ-45 compatibility offer higher frequency support while remaining usable with existing Cat6a and older Ethernet equipment. The red jacket improves cable identification and the integrated strain relief protects the connector during tight installations.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between switches, routers and modems
• Patch panel and keystone jack terminations
• Home and small office networks
• High-speed internet and multimedia streaming setups

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Red
• MPN: SFTP705R
• EAN: 5712505455142

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (switch, router or modem) and the other into the destination device or wall outlet/patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electrical noise where possible. The built-in strain relief helps protect the connector during installation in confined spaces.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances and maintain gentle bend radii. Use Cat7 where higher frequency headroom and shielding are required; the cable remains backward compatible with Cat6a and earlier standards when connecting to existing equipment.
