Microconnect SFTP702O καλώδιο δικτύου πορτοκαλί 2 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The MicroConnect SFTP702O is a 2 m orange networking cable compliant with Cat7 standard and designed for high-speed data transmission. It provides a reliable wired connection between network devices such as switches, modems, routers or to structured cabling via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for compatibility with common network equipment.

Advantages

This Cat7 SFTP cable is tested up to 600 MHz while using Cat6a-compatible RJ-45 connectors, ensuring backward compatibility with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 installations. The shielding protects against EMI and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity and reduce transmission errors. A reinforced connector boot prevents damage to the plug during installation in confined spaces. The bright orange jacket improves cable identification in patching and rack environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to local network infrastructure
• Small office and home network and entertainment setups
• Patching between wall outlets, keystone jacks and patch panels

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 – both ends
• Length: 2 m
• Colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.03 kg

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plugs into the corresponding ports of your network devices or patch panel until the connector latches. Route the cable through cable channels or wall openings as needed, using the reinforced boot to protect the plug when passing through tight spaces. Ensure connectors are fully seated and perform link tests from your devices or a network tester to verify connectivity and performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable, keep it away from strong sources of electrical noise, and use appropriate patch panels or keystone jacks rated for shielded cables to maintain the integrity of the S/FTP shielding.
