Microconnect SFTP701Y καλώδιο δικτύου κίτρινο 1 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP701Y is a 1 m networking cable built to Cat7 standard with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It provides a high-performance, visible yellow connection between network devices such as switches, modems, routers or patch panels, and is suitable for small office, home networks and entertainment setups. The cable is factory tested up to 600 MHz while using Cat6a-compatible RJ-45 connectors and remains backwards compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 interfaces.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity and reducing transmission errors. The Cat7 construction supports higher frequencies (tested to 600 MHz) for stable high-speed data transfer. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility for easy identification in complex cabling environments. A protective strain relief on the connector reduces the risk of connector damage during installation in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, modems and patch panels
• Home and small office network wiring
• High-bandwidth applications and multimedia streaming

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (tested to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Length: 1 m
• Color: Yellow
• Weight: 0.03 kg

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices or wall outlets. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it separated from strong electrical sources where possible to maintain signal quality. The cable is compatible with standard RJ-45 ports and can be used with patch panels, keystone jacks and wall plates.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid kinking or excessive bending of the cable and maintain proper grounding of connected equipment. Use the cable for short links up to 1 m where high frequency performance and EMI protection are required.
