Microconnect SFTP701R Καλώδιο δικτύου κόκκινο 1 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP701R RJ-45 Cat7 1m Red is a 1 meter S/FTP networking cable designed for reliable, high-speed connections between network devices such as switches, modems and routers, or to structured cabling via patch panels, keystone jacks and wall outlets. It meets Cat7 standards with testing up to 600 MHz and is fitted with RJ-45 Cat6a-compatible connectors for backward compatibility with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 installations. The cable includes integrated shielding and a snagless connector design to protect the plug during tight installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and reduces crosstalk, which helps maintain data integrity and stable transmission rates. Tested up to 600 MHz according to Cat7 requirements, the cable supports higher bandwidths while the Cat6a-style RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with existing equipment. The 1 m length and bright red colour make the cable easy to identify and position in small office or home network setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Home and small office wired network and entertainment systems
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and improved signal integrity

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 (Cat6a-compatible)
• Length: 1 m
• Colour: Red
• Weight: 0.04 kg

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on your network device or patch panel until it clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; the snagless design protects the connector clip during installation through confined spaces. Ensure both ends are fully seated and check link status on connected devices to verify a successful connection.

Recommendations

Use this shielded Cat7 cable in installations where EMI is a concern or where higher bandwidth performance is required. For long-distance runs choose appropriately rated cable lengths and consider using Cat7-spec patch panels and connectors to preserve shielding continuity.
