Microconnect MC-SFTP802Y Καλώδιο δικτύου κίτρινο 2 m Cat8.1 S/FTP (S-STP)

The MicroConnect MC-SFTP802Y RJ-45 Cat8.1 2m Yellow is a high-performance S/FTP patch cable designed for demanding network environments. It complies with the Cat8.1 standard and supports very high data rates and wide bandwidth, while the yellow jacket makes cable identification simple in structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This networking cable features S/FTP shielding for improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, 50 µin gold-plated RJ45 contacts for reliable signal transfer, and a reinforced latch protector to reduce the risk of clip breakage. The boot is marked with meter graduation to allow quick length identification during installation.

Suitable for

• High-speed server and data center links
• 25 Gbps and similar high-throughput Ethernet connections
• Backbone and switch-to-switch connections in enterprise networks
• Structured cabling where clear color coding is required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 2 m
• Data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s (manufacturer specification)
• Product colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.19 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the MicroConnect Cat8.1 cable to the network device port and the other end to the corresponding port on the switch, router or server. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; use the meter markings on the boot to confirm cable length if needed. Route the cable following standard bend-radius and strain-relief practices to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference, and confirm compatibility with your network equipment for 25 Gbps operation. Use colored cables like the yellow MC-SFTP802Y to simplify identification in complex installations.
