Microconnect B-UTP660SOUT Καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 60 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect B-UTP660SOUT is an outdoor-rated Cat6 networking cable with a length of 60 m and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is manufactured with a double polyethylene (PE) outer jacket that increases resistance to water and UV radiation, and is tested to the Cat6 frequency of 250 MHz while remaining backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5.

Advantages

This Cat6 outdoor patch cable offers U/UTP construction for reduced interference and supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s. The double PE jacket provides enhanced protection in exterior environments and against sunlight exposure. Each cable is tested up to 250 MHz to meet Cat6 standards, and connectors are fitted with strain-relief features to reduce the risk of damage during installation in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting outdoor surveillance cameras
• Wiring on building façades and exterior walls
• Garden, campsite and other outdoor network runs
• Temporary outdoor events and installations

How to use

Route the cable along the planned outdoor path, avoiding sharp edges and prolonged contact with standing water. Terminate both ends in RJ-45 ports or patch panels designed for Cat6 performance. When passing the cable through narrow conduits or tight openings, use the built-in strain-relief feature on the connector to minimise stress. Ensure proper bend radius and secure the cable with suitable outdoor-rated clips or ties.

Recommendations

For long-term outdoor installations, complement the cable with UV-stable conduit or trunking where possible and maintain periodic inspections to check for physical damage. Avoid burial without additional protective conduit designed for direct burial applications.
