Microconnect B-UTP515 Καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 15 m Cat5e U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect B-UTP515 is a 15 m Cat5e networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for use in home and office networks, it supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and meets the Cat5e standard with testing up to 100 MHz. The cable uses U/UTP construction to reduce interference and is finished in grey. Latch protection on the connectors helps prevent damage during installation in tight spaces.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides stable performance for wired connections between switches, routers, modems and patch panels. It is backwards compatible with Cat5 systems and its U/UTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for clearer signals. The integrated latch protection extends connector lifetime by preventing accidental damage when routing the cable through confined installation areas.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and modems
• Patch panel and keystone jack installations
• Home and small office networks
• Entertainment systems and set-top box connections

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Standard: Cat5e, tested up to 100 MHz
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (10/100/1000Base-T(X))
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Colour: Grey
• Weight: 0.108 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (for example a switch, router or modem) and the other connector to the destination device, patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to establish a reliable connection. Route the cable so it is not pinched or sharply bent; keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat5e cable for short- to medium-length runs within homes and small offices and avoid bundling it tightly with power cables. If you require runs longer than 100 meters or higher bandwidths, consider Cat6 or higher-rated cables.
