Microconnect B-UTP502P Καλώδιο δικτύου Μωβ 2 m Cat5e U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect B-UTP502P is a 2 m networking cable with RJ-45 connectors that supports Cat5e standards. With U/UTP construction it is suitable for connecting switches, modems, routers and patch panels in small office, home network and entertainment setups. The cable is tested to 100 MHz and is backward compatible with Cat5.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides reliable wired connectivity and supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s when used in compatible networks. It features a latch protection on the RJ-45 connector to reduce the risk of clip damage during installation in tight spaces. The purple jacket makes cable identification in multi-cable environments easier.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems
• Linking patch panels, keystone jacks and wall outlets
• Small office and home network cabling
• Entertainment systems and media devices

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e (tested to 100 MHz)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — RJ-45
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (dependent on network equipment)
• Colour: Purple
• Weight: 0.038 kg

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports of devices such as switches, routers, modems or wall outlets. Ensure connectors click into place via the latch protection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; for installations through small openings confirm sufficient clearance to prevent damage to the connector clip.

Recommendations

Use this Cat5e cable for standard LAN connections in environments that do not require shielded cabling. For runs longer than 100 metres or where higher bandwidth and future-proofing are needed, consider Cat6 or higher-category cables.
