Microconnect B-FTP610S Καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 10 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP)

The Microconnect B-FTP610S RJ-45 Cat6 10 m Black is a shielded networking cable designed for reliable high-speed connections between devices such as switches, modems, routers and wall outlets or patch panels. Compliant with Cat6 standards and tested up to 250 MHz, this 10 m cable supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5. The cable includes latch protection on the RJ-45 connectors and an F/UTP (foil over twisted pairs with overall braid) shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and reduce crosstalk.

Advantages

The shielded construction reduces EMI-related data errors and preserves transmission speed in environments with electrical noise. Latch protection on the RJ-45 plugs prevents connector damage during installation in tight spaces. Cat6 compliance and backward compatibility ensure stable performance with existing Cat5/Cat5e infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between switch, router, modem or patch panel
• Home and small office Ethernet networks
• Connections requiring reduced interference (near electrical equipment)
• Audio/video streaming and entertainment setups

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or modem) and the other plug to the destination port such as a patch panel, keystone jack or wall outlet. Ensure connectors latch securely; the cable's latch protection reduces the risk of damage when routing through tight installations. For best results, avoid sharp bends and maintain recommended bend radius for Cat6 cables.

Recommendations

Use this shielded Cat6 cable in installations where electromagnetic interference is a concern, and pair it with compatible shielded connectors or properly grounded patch panels when possible to maintain full shielding effectiveness.
