LOGILINK USB 2.0 Cat.5 extender, 50 m, Pigtail, μαύρο

Need to connect a USB device such as a printer, scanner, webcam, or external drive to a computer located far away? Standard USB cables are limited to about 5 metres. The LOGILINK UA0178 USB 2.0 Cat.5 Extender breaks through that barrier, letting you place your USB device up to 50 metres from your PC or laptop using inexpensive and easy-to-run Cat.5, Cat.5e, or Cat.6 network cable. This kit includes both a local unit (transmitter) and a remote unit (receiver), so you have everything you need for a clean, professional installation.

Who is it for

IT administrators, kiosk builders, digital signage integrators, and home users who need to put a USB peripheral in a more convenient or practical location. Instead of struggling with bulky active USB extension cables, you simply run a single Ethernet cable through walls, ceilings, or ducting.

Tips

For best performance, use a high-quality solid-core Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable and keep the total cable length under 50 m. If you are powering a device that draws more than the USB port provides, connect an external 5 V DC power supply to the local unit's DC-in jack. The pigtail design means no bulky dongles – just plug the local unit into your computer and connect the remote unit directly to your USB device.
