Lindy PS/2 1.0m Καλώδιο PS/2 1 m Γκρι

The Lindy PS/2 1.0m cable is a 1-metre PS/2 lead with male connectors on both ends designed to connect legacy keyboards and mice to compatible computer PS/2 ports. The cable is finished in grey and provides a simple wired connection where PS/2 interfaces remain in use, offering a compact length suitable for desktop and workstation setups. It is intended as a direct replacement or spare connection cable for systems that require the PS/2 interface.

Advantages

The Lindy PS/2 1.0m cable provides stable, low-latency wired connectivity for PS/2-compatible input devices. Its 1-metre length keeps cable runs tidy while allowing sufficient reach between device and system. The grey jacket helps the cable integrate visually into office and home environments. The cable is straightforward to install and requires no drivers or configuration, offering reliable plug-and-play operation with devices that support the PS/2 standard.

Suitable for

• Connecting PS/2 keyboards to desktop PCs and workstations
• Connecting PS/2 mice to systems with PS/2 ports
• Use as a spare or replacement cable for legacy systems
• Use in office, point-of-sale, and industrial computer setups where PS/2 ports are present

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector type: PS/2 male to PS/2 male
• Colour: Grey
• Cable use: Data connection for input devices (keyboard/mouse)

How to use

Connect one PS/2 male connector to the PS/2 port on the computer and the other connector to the compatible input device. Ensure both connectors are aligned correctly with the receiving ports before inserting to avoid bending pins. For systems that support hot-plugging, connect or disconnect only when recommended by the system manufacturer; otherwise, power down the computer before attaching or removing the cable to prevent potential port or device issues.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term use, avoid tight bends and excessive strain on the cable and connectors. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and heavy foot traffic. If using in an environment with frequent plugging and unplugging, inspect connector pins periodically for damage and replace the cable if any deformity is found.
