InLine καλώδιο PS/2, M/F, μαύρο/πράσινο, επιχρυσωμένες επαφές, 3 m

This InLine PS/2 Cable M/F 3m Black/Green with golden contacts provides a 3‑metre connection between PS/2 keyboard or mouse and a compatible computer port. The cable has a male PS/2 plug on one end and a female PS/2 jack on the other, allowing extension or relocation of input devices without altering the original connectors. Black outer insulation with a green connector ring provides visual identification for PS/2 connections.

Advantages

The cable uses gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion, helping to maintain stable signal transfer over time. With a 3 m length it offers flexible placement of input devices for different workspace arrangements. The male/female configuration enables simple extension of an existing PS/2 lead without the need for adapters or soldering.

Suitable for

• Extending a PS/2 keyboard connection
• Extending a PS/2 mouse connection
• Connecting legacy computers and peripherals with PS/2 ports
• Workstations where device placement requires additional cable length

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 metres
• Connector types: PS/2 male to PS/2 female
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Colour: black cable with green connector ring
• Intended use: signal extension for keyboard and mouse PS/2 interfaces

How to use

Ensure both the computer and input device are powered off before connecting. Plug the male PS/2 connector into the computer’s PS/2 port and attach the existing keyboard or mouse plug into the female end of the cable. Power on the computer and verify that the input device is recognised. If the device is not detected, power down and re-seat the connectors to ensure solid physical contact.

Recommendations

Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep it away from high‑voltage sources to reduce electromagnetic interference. For systems with combined PS/2 ports or USB-only setups, confirm compatibility or use appropriate adapters if necessary.
