Lindy 5m καλώδιο δικτύου Cat.6 S/FTP, γκρι

The Lindy 5m Cat.6 S/FTP Network Cable (grey) is manufactured and tested to the ISO 11801 standard and designed for Gigabit Ethernet applications. The cable features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and RJ‑45 connectors with gold‑plated contacts to maintain signal integrity. It is supplied in a polybag and is suitable for structured cabling in server cabinets, wall cabinets, data centres and typical office or home networks.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference. The robust snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal. Gold‑plated pins ensure reliable contact and consistent data transmission. The 5 m length and standard RJ‑45 terminations make the cable compatible with routers, switches, network printers and NAS devices.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base‑T) connections
• Structured cabling in server rooms and network cabinets
• Connections between computers, switches and routers
• AV installations and security systems requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base‑T(X)
• Connector type: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with individually screened pairs)
• Contact plating: Gold‑plated pins
• Colour: Grey
• Standards: Manufactured and tested to ISO 11801

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to your network device (PC, switch, router or NAS) and the other RJ‑45 plug to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; use the snagless strain relief when inserting or removing the connector to prevent latch damage.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in high‑interference environments, use shielded patch panels and properly grounded racks or cabinets. Avoid running the cable parallel to high‑voltage power lines to minimise electromagnetic interference.
