Lindy 48404 καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 5 m Cat5e U/UTP (UTP)

The Lindy 48404 is an unshielded twisted-pair (U/UTP) networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It conforms to the Cat5e standard, uses 26 AWG conductors across 8 wires and comes in a 5 m length in grey colour, suitable for typical home and office Ethernet connections.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable data transmission for Fast Ethernet and typical Gigabit Ethernet setups within standard horizontal cabling distances. Its RJ-45 terminations follow the TIA/EIA 568B pinout for straightforward installation and compatibility with common networking equipment. The 26 AWG conductor size balances flexibility and signal integrity for everyday use.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home networks
• Office workstation and closet patching
• Linking networked devices such as printers, NAS and IP cameras (within Cat5e performance limits)

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Standard: Cat5e
• Wires: 8
• Conductor size: 26 AWG
• Connector 1: RJ-45 (TIA/EIA 568B)
• Connector 2: RJ-45
• Colour: Grey
• Length: 5 m

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet ports of the devices you want to connect. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension; maintain appropriate separation from sources of electromagnetic interference where possible despite the U/UTP construction. Test the link with network diagnostic tools or device LEDs to confirm connectivity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat5e cable for connections up to 5 meters within standard Ethernet environments; for longer runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference consider shielded cabling (STP/FTP) or Cat6/Cat6a solutions.
