Lindy 47785 Καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 20 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 20m Black networking cable provides a 20-metre connection for high-speed Ethernet networks. Constructed to meet Cat.6 performance, the cable supports Gigabit network speeds and is suitable for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) applications. S/FTP shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The black sheath offers a discreet, professional appearance for residential and commercial installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs) enhances signal integrity in environments with potential interference from adjacent cables and electronic devices. The Cat.6 specification ensures bandwidth and performance for demanding network tasks. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide improved conductivity and long-term durability compared with unplated contacts. A 20 m length covers medium-range runs between network equipment without needing patch panels or intermediate extensions.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and routers in home or office networks
• Wiring wall sockets to patch panels or network outlets within a single floor
• Gigabit Ethernet applications including data transfer and streaming
• Temporary or semi-permanent cable runs for meeting rooms and workstations

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Supported cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring that bends respect the minimum bend radius recommended for Ethernet cables to avoid signal degradation. Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port until the latch clicks. For fixed installations, secure the cable with cable ties or clips, avoiding excessive mechanical strain on the connectors. If connecting through wall plates or patch panels, ensure proper termination and verify link status on the network devices after making the connection.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical wiring and keep it clear of sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use the cable within its specified length and environment; for extended runs or outdoor installations, select cabling designed for those conditions. Test the link speed after installation to confirm Gigabit connectivity where required.
