Lindy 47781 καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 5m Black networking cable is engineered for reliable gigabit Ethernet connections in home and office environments. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and provides increased protection against electromagnetic interference through S/FTP shielding. The cable comes in a 5 metre length and uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal transfer and reduce contact corrosion over time.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding offers combined overall and pair-level protection, reducing crosstalk and external interference for more consistent data throughput. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and resistance to oxidation. The Cat.6 specification supports higher bandwidth and lower attenuation compared with older categories, enabling dependable performance for gigabit networks. The 5 m length covers common desktop-to-switch or patch-panel runs while the black jacket provides a neutral, unobtrusive appearance.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Patch connections between wall outlets and patch panels in small office setups
• Home network wiring where gigabit speeds and reduced interference are required
• Audio-visual equipment integration requiring stable Ethernet links

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Supported protocols: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding port on your network device until the latch clicks. Ensure both ends are securely connected to the switch, router or network interface card to establish a link. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends, kinks or tight coils in the cable and keep it separated from high-power electrical cabling where possible. Verify link status indicators on your devices to confirm a successful connection and appropriate negotiated speed.

Recommendations

For consistent gigabit performance, use the cable for short to medium runs (such as desk-to-switch) and combine with compatible Cat.6 or higher rated infrastructure. When routing alongside power lines, maintain separation to minimize interference and periodically inspect connectors for dust or damage to preserve reliable connectivity.
