Lindy 47665 Καλώδιο δικτύου κίτρινο 5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy networking cable combines Cat.7 S/FTP cable construction with RJ-45 terminations to support high-speed Ethernet applications up to 10GBase-T and operating frequencies up to 600 MHz. The cable is individually polybagged and is available in multiple lengths and colours; this specific item is a 5 m yellow cable with RJ-45 connectors and robust snagless strain relief.

Advantages

The S/FTP design provides overall braided shielding plus individual foil shielding for each pair to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs ensure stable, corrosion-resistant connections. The snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 standards and is suitable for demanding environments such as data centres and server rooms.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T networks and other Ethernet installations up to 10 Gbit/s
• Data centres, server rooms and rack-mounted network cabinets
• Patch panels, switch-to-server and switch-to-switch connections
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category and construction: Cat.7 S/FTP (overall braided shielding + foil per pair)
• Operating frequency: up to 600 MHz
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Yellow
• Standards: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, patch panel or NIC) and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port. Ensure the connector latch engages securely; the snagless design helps prevent latch damage when pulling the cable through panels or trays. Route the cable to minimise bend radius and avoid running parallel to strong power sources to reduce interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.7 S/FTP RJ-45 patch cable for stable, high-speed 10GBase-T links in professional network environments. For best performance, avoid excessive bending, keep cable runs within recommended length limits for structured cabling, and maintain separation from high-voltage power lines.
