Lindy 47418 Καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 10 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47418 Black 10m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for Ethernet devices. Built to Cat6a specifications with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 terminations with gold-plated contacts, the cable supports robust data transmission with reduced crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The 10 m length and black jacket make it suitable for structured cabling runs in home offices, workplaces, and small server setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to minimize external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, improving signal integrity at higher frequencies. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts promote reliable electrical contact and resist corrosion over time. The Cat6a specification enables higher data rates and improved performance compared with lower-category cables, while the 10 m length offers flexibility for common room-to-room and rack-to-desk connections.

Suitable for

• 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet connections in home and office networks
• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, routers, switches and NAS devices
• Short structured cabling runs between network equipment and wall outlets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 10 m
• Colour: Black
• Supported cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other RJ-45 plug to a switch, router, modem or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure electrical and mechanical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching, or running parallel and close to sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as high-power electrical lines or large transformers.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii greater than the manufacturer’s minimum where possible. Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for gigabit and near-gigabit applications and in environments where reduced EMI and crosstalk improve link stability. If installing permanently within walls or ceilings, verify applicable building and fire-safety codes and use appropriate in-wall rated alternatives when required.
