Lindy 47285 Καλώδιο δικτύου μπλε 20 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47285 RJ-45 Cat7 20m Blue networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission over local area networks. Built to Cat7 specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 20 metre cable reduces electromagnetic interference and maintains stable connections for networking equipment. The blue jacket provides easy visual identification in structured cabling installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors resist corrosion and ensure consistent contact quality over repeated insertions. The Cat7 standard supports high bandwidths and is backwards compatible with lower Category ports, allowing flexible use across mixed equipment setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels within office or data-centre racks
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD video streaming, VoIP and fast file transfers
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment
• Structured cabling where colour-coded cables are required for organisation

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology compatibility: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Route the cable between network devices making sure to avoid tight bends and sharp kinks that could damage the internal pairs or shielding. Insert the gold-plated RJ-45 connectors into compatible ports until the latch clicks. For rack installations, secure excess cable with appropriate ties or cable management to maintain bend radii and to prevent strain on the connectors. Test the link with a network tester or the connected devices to verify connectivity and link speed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for your network topology and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines. When mixing cable categories, ensure devices and patch panels are compatible; Cat7 cabling provides future-proofing for higher bandwidth needs while remaining compatible with Gigabit Ethernet equipment.
