Lindy 47185 Καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 20 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47185 RJ-45 Cat6 networking cable provides a 20 m connection designed for reliable gigabit Ethernet links. Built to Cat6 performance and 10/100/1000Base-T(X) compatibility, the cable supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance. The cable's black jacket delivers a discreet appearance suitable for home, office or data centre installations.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat6 performance with S/FTP shielding to deliver stable gigabit throughput in environments with potential interference from neighbouring cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve signal transmission and durability compared with unplated contacts. A 20 m length offers flexible placement between network devices without the need for patch panels or additional extenders, and the black outer jacket provides a neutral aesthetic that blends into most installations.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and routers at gigabit speeds
• Home networking and smart-home hub wiring
• Office workstations and VoIP phone connections
• Small server rooms and network closet patching
• Temporary setups for events or testing network equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) compatible
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Route the cable between network devices taking care to avoid tight bends and sharp edges that could damage the internal pairs or shielding. Insert each RJ-45 connector fully into the device's Ethernet port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure mechanical and electrical connection. If running the cable alongside power lines or heavy machinery, keep separation to reduce potential interference. For wall or rack installations use appropriate cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and strain relief.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, test the link with a network tester after installation to verify gigabit connectivity and correct pinout. When installing in environments with high electromagnetic interference, maintain distance from power sources and consider additional routing or conduit to protect the S/FTP shielding. Replace the cable if connectors show wear or if the jacket is damaged to avoid reduced performance.
