Lindy 47179 Καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 2 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47179 Black 2m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable provides a straightforward solution for wired network connections requiring Gigabit performance. With Cat6 specification and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is designed for use with standard RJ-45 network ports. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and resist corrosion while the 2 m length and black jacket make it suitable for visible and concealed installations in home and office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk from adjacent cables and equipment, helping to maintain signal integrity over the cable length. Cat6 specification ensures compatibility with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, enabling stable Gigabit Ethernet connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide durable, low-resistance connections and improved longevity. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates easily into most setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops or network switches to a router or patch panel
• Home networking where a compact 2 m cable is needed for tidy routing
• Office workstations and small office setups requiring Gigabit connectivity
• Moderate EMI environments where S/FTP shielding improves signal stability

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (Cat6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Product colour: Black
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s

How to use

Insert one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the router, switch or patch panel until the latch clicks. Ensure connectors are fully seated to achieve reliable contact. Route the 2 m cable to avoid tight bends or sharp kinks and keep it separated from high-power electrical cables where possible to reduce potential interference. For best results, confirm both connected devices are configured for Gigabit operation.

Recommendations

Use the Lindy 47179 Cat6 cable in straight, untwisted runs no longer than the intended workplace layout to maintain performance. Avoid pulling the cable by the connector and prevent repeated bending at the connector ends. In environments with strong electromagnetic sources, pair S/FTP shielded cabling with grounded equipment and proper cable management to optimise signal quality.
