Lindy 47162 Καλώδιο δικτύου κόκκινο 1 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47162 RJ-45 Cat6 1m Red networking cable is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for Gigabit networks and standard office or home installations. At 1 m length it connects devices over 10/100/1000Base-T(X) infrastructure and supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. The cable features S/FTP shielding around twisted pairs and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain signal integrity and reduce contact corrosion. Its red outer jacket provides quick visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable combines S/FTP shielding with reliable RJ-45 terminations to minimise electromagnetic interference and crosstalk in crowded cable environments. Gold-plated connector contacts ensure consistent electrical contact and longer service life. The 1 m length is suited to short patch connections without excess slack, and the red colour aids organized cable management and fault tracing.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and network devices in racks and patch panels
• Workstation to wall socket or desk patch connections
• Home network setups requiring Gigabit throughput
• Environments where colour-coded cabling simplifies maintenance

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector contacts: gold-plated
• Length: 1 m
• Colour: red

How to use

Plug one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, router or wall socket and the other connector into the target device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends near the connector and keep the cable clear of high-power electrical lines to reduce potential interference. Replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short-distance patching where Gigabit speeds are required and where colour coding improves cable management. For long runs beyond typical Ethernet distance limits, select appropriately rated in-wall or bulk cabling and follow local installation standards.
