Lindy 47151 Καλώδιο δικτύου μπλε 5 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 5m Cat.6A RJ-45 S/FTP networking cable in blue is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, the cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suited for installations that require reduced electromagnetic interference and stable signal transmission over a 5 metre reach.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple data lines or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact reliability and resist corrosion for longer connector life. The 5 m length offers flexibility for desk-to-switch or patching applications, and the blue jacket makes cable routing and visual identification straightforward.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between computers and network switches
• Patch panel to switch or wall outlet connections
• Home or office Ethernet setups requiring Cat.6A performance
• Environments where shielding reduces interference (near power lines or electronic equipment)

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually foiled pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your device (computer, switch, router or patch panel) and the other connector to the corresponding network port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking clip engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas with heavy electrical interference; maintain gentle curves rather than tight radii to preserve internal conductor geometry. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management such as clips or cable ties and avoid excessive tension or compression.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within its specified length and avoid running it parallel to mains power lines for long distances. When connecting to equipment that supports Cat.6A speeds, verify network devices and patch panels are compatible to achieve the indicated data transfer rate.
