Lindy 47150 Καλώδιο δικτύου μπλε 3 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 3m Cat.6A RJ-45 S/FTP networking cable in blue is designed for high-performance wired networks and supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s. The cable features standard RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and reduce corrosion-related signal loss. Its S/FTP shielding (shielded foil around twisted pairs with an overall braided shield) reduces electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, supporting stable connections in environments with multiple sources of electrical noise.

Advantages

The cable's Cat.6A specification enables reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over short to medium distances while maintaining backward compatibility with Cat5e and Cat6 hardware. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide consistent contact quality and reduced oxidation. S/FTP shielding improves immunity to crosstalk and external interference, which helps maintain throughput and low error rates in crowded wiring cabinets, server rooms or near other electronic equipment. The 3 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management in desktop and rack-based installations, and the blue jacket helps visually identify and organise network runs.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links between switches, routers and servers within racks or across short runs
• Workstation connections in offices, studios or home networks requiring high bandwidth
• Patch panels and structured cabling in data closets and server rooms
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually shielded pairs with overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device (switch, router, network card or patch panel) and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the retaining clip clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain a bend radius consistent with the cable diameter and avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines to minimise interference. For best performance, use Cat.6A-rated ports and patch panels where available.

Recommendations

Use this S/FTP Cat.6A cable for short to medium high-speed links and in areas where shielding against interference is required. For longer runs beyond recommended Cat.6A distances or for permanent in-wall installations, consider planning cabling according to local installation standards and using appropriate conduit or plenum-rated products where necessary.
