Lindy 47149 Καλώδιο δικτύου μπλε 2 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 2m Cat.6A S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for reliable contact and improved corrosion resistance. The cable's 2 m length and blue jacket make it suitable for linking devices within a home or office network while maintaining a tidy appearance.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to provide enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference, which helps maintain signal integrity at high speeds. The Cat.6A specification supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over short to medium distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer consistent electrical contact and durability through repeated plugging cycles. The 2 m length provides flexibility for workstation and equipment placement without excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in small office or home networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, large file transfers and VoIP
• Short-run links in server racks, patch panels or wall outlets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Maximum data rate: 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device (PC, switch, router or patch panel) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the network device you wish to connect. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a firm mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it separated from mains power cables where possible.

Recommendations

For stable 10 Gigabit performance, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable for links up to typical horizontal distances and within structured cabling installations. When routing through conduits or tight spaces, check bend radius limits and avoid compressing the shield to preserve shielding effectiveness. Periodically inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if physical wear or connector deformation is observed.
