Lindy 47148 Καλώδιο δικτύου μπλε 1,5 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47148 RJ-45 Cat6a networking cable, 1.5 m in blue, is a shielded S/FTP Ethernet cable designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) installations. It supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and uses gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain reliable contact and reduce corrosion. The cable's Cat6a specification and shielding provide improved immunity to electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall shield with individually shielded pairs, reducing crosstalk and external interference in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer durable connectivity and consistent signal transmission. The 1.5 m length provides a compact, direct connection between nearby devices while the blue jacket makes cable routing and identification easier in structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and routers in small office or home networks
• Short runs between network equipment in server rooms or wiring closets
• Audio/video streaming and VoIP devices requiring stable gigabit connections
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Standard: Cat6a
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Data rate support: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Compatible cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert each gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks into place. For optimal performance, avoid excessive bending or kinking of the cable and keep it separated from power cables or strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible. Use the 1.5 m length for direct connections between nearby equipment, patch panels or wall jacks in office and residential networks.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors for damage before installation and ensure ports are free of dust. For environments with high interference, verify that connected equipment and patch panels also support shielded cabling and proper grounding to benefit fully from the S/FTP construction.
