Lindy 45985 Καλώδιο δικτύου κίτρινο 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable with a length of 7.5 m and support for bandwidths up to 250 MHz. The cable conforms to Cat6 standards and is designed for Gigabit Ethernet (up to 1 GBase-T) with RJ-45 connectors that have gold-plated contacts. The LSZH halogen-free sheath reduces smoke and removes toxic halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for installations in public spaces. The product is packaged individually in a polybag.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction uses a braided overall shield plus foil shielding for each twisted pair, providing improved protection against electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer corrosion resistance and stable connections over time. A snagless strain relief design protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 specifications.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (1 Gbit/s)
• AV extension and professional networking installations
• Office and public-space cabling where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 m
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router, PC or AV equipment) and the other plug to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; use cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines for long distances and keep separation from high-interference sources. Inspect connectors before installation and avoid excessive pulling on the cable; the snagless design protects the latch but not the internal wiring from extreme force.
