Lindy 45984 Καλώδιο δικτύου κίτρινο 5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable, Lindy model 45984, 5 m length in yellow. The cable supports operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and is manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801. It is shielded with braided overall shielding and foil shields around each pair (S/FTP), designed for Gigabit Ethernet (up to 1GBase-T) and AV extension applications. The cable features gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a snagless strain relief. The sheath is low-smoke, halogen-free (LSZH), suitable for use in public spaces where reduced smoke and no toxic halogen emissions are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer corrosion resistance and stable connections over time. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal. LSZH sheath reduces smoke and eliminates halogen emissions in case of fire, making the cable suitable for installations in public or enclosed spaces.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (1GBase-T)
• AV extension and professional audio/video setups
• Structured cabling compliant with ISO/IEC 11801
• Public buildings and enclosed spaces requiring LSZH materials

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router, PC, AV extender) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and route the cable to avoid tight bends or sharp kinks that can degrade performance. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management while avoiding compression of the sheath.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for Gigabit connections and keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Ethernet standards. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimize interference; where necessary, maintain physical separation or use additional shielding.
