Lindy 45958 Καλώδιο δικτύου πράσινο 20 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable supporting frequencies up to 250 MHz and designed for Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. This Lindy 45958 cable is 20 m long, features S/FTP shielding (braid overall shield plus foil for each twisted pair), and comes with gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a snagless connector design. The sheath is made of halogen-free LSZH material, reducing smoke and toxic emissions in public or enclosed spaces. The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and is packaged individually in a polybag.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, making it suitable for environments with higher noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer corrosion-resistant connections for long-term reliability. The snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal, and the LSZH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire. The cable supports Gigabit Ethernet data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and operating frequencies up to 250 MHz.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (1GBase-T)
• AV extension and multimedia installations
• Office and data center horizontal cabling
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801 compliant)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil for individual pairs)
• Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold plated contacts
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Green
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the opposite end into the corresponding switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and avoid excessive bending near the connector to maintain performance. For installation through conduits or cable trays, route the cable without sharp bends and secure it with appropriate cable ties or clips that do not compress the jacket.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended length limits for Ethernet and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use S/FTP Cat6 cabling where electromagnetic interference or crosstalk could impact signal integrity; in permanent installations, follow local cabling standards and testing procedures after installation.
