Lindy 45641 Καλώδιο δικτύου μπλε 0,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable for frequencies up to 250 MHz, designed for Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) and AV extension applications. The Lindy 45641 is a 0.5 m blue RJ-45 to RJ-45 cable with SF/UTP shielding, manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801. It features gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain relief for reliable, long-lasting connections in professional and public environments.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP construction (braid overall shield plus foil on individual pairs) provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts reduce corrosion and maintain good conductivity over time. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal. The LSZH (halogen-free) sheath minimizes smoke and toxic gas emission, making the cable suitable for installations in public spaces.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (10/100/1000Base-T)
• AV extension and professional AV installations
• Short patching runs in data cabinets and workstations (0.5 m length)
• Environments requiring halogen-free materials (public buildings, offices)

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth/Operating frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Data rates: supports 10/100/1000Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plug on each end to the corresponding Ethernet ports on network devices (switch, router, NIC or AV equipment). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and maintain a reasonable separation from strong electromagnetic sources. The 0.5 m length is intended for short patching between nearby ports or devices within a rack or desktop setup.

Recommendations

Use this Lindy Cat6 S/FTP cable for short, high-performance connections where shielding and low-smoke halogen-free materials are required. Avoid excessive mechanical stress on the connectors and keep the cable away from high-power electrical wiring to preserve signal quality.
