Lindy 45581 Καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 0,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable Lindy 45581, 0.5 m length in grey, designed for Ethernet applications up to 1 GBase-T. The cable supports operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801. Shielding comprises a braided overall shield with foil around each pair (S/FTP). Connectors are RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain relief for secure, durable connections. The outer sheath is halogen-free (LSZH), reducing smoke and toxic emissions and making the cable suitable for public or confined spaces.

Advantages

The Lindy 45581 Cat6 cable provides reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance with S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve long-term contact reliability and resist corrosion. The snagless connector design reduces the risk of latch damage during installation and removal. The LSZH outer jacket offers low smoke and halogen-free characteristics for improved safety in public areas.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T)
• AV extension and professional network installations
• Short patch connections between switches, routers and devices (0.5 m)
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Data rate: up to 1 GBase-T
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, NIC) and the other to the corresponding port on the linked device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the snagless design protects the latch during handling. Use the cable for short patching runs where reliable Gigabit connectivity and shielded performance are required.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines for long distances and keep bend radii above manufacturer recommendations. Use this 0.5 m cable for short interconnects in racks, desktops or AV cabinets; for longer runs choose appropriately rated Cat6 cables of greater length.
