Lindy 3m Cat.6 S/FTP καλώδιο, πορτοκαλί

Cat.6 S/FTP cable with RJ45 connectors, 3 m length, engineered for Gigabit Ethernet and AV extension applications. The cable uses individual pair foil shielding combined with an overall braided shield (S/FTP) to support operating frequencies up to 250 MHz. Gold-plated contacts reduce signal loss and corrosion for long-term reliable connections, and the integrated snagless connector protects the latch during installation and removal. This Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and is supplied individually in a polybag. Colour: Orange.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction with foil on each pair plus a braid provides improved EMI protection compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts enhance conductivity and minimise contact corrosion over time. The integrated snagless strain relief prevents connector latch damage during handling. The cable supports bandwidths up to 250 MHz and is suitable for ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T)
• AV extension and professional network installations
• Workstations, switches and patch panels in office or data centre environments
• Cable runs where improved EMI/RFI protection is required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801 compliant)
• Shielding: S/FTP (foiled pairs + overall braid)
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: Orange
• Suitable for: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Packaging: individually polybagged
• Warranty: 10 years

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network device (router, switch, NIC) and the other end into the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain bend radius recommendations typical for Cat.6 cabling to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable in shielded or grounded installations where possible, and avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Choose the 3 m length for short patching between racks, switches and nearby devices; inspect connectors periodically and replace the cable if any physical damage is visible.
