Lindy 1,5 m καλώδιο δικτύου Cat.6 S/FTP, μαύρο

Network Cable Lindy 1.5m Cat.6 S/FTP Black is a 1.5 m Cat.6 Ethernet lead with S/FTP shielding (braid overall shield + foil around each pair) designed for reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance up to 250 MHz. The cable uses gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a snagless strain relief to protect the connector latch during installation. It is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 standards and supplied individually in a polybag.

Advantages

S/FTP construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting stable data transmission for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and help maintain low contact resistance over time. The snagless design protects the RJ-45 latch from damage during frequent plugging and unplugging.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (1GBase-T)
• AV extension and streaming applications
• Home and office network installations where shielding is required

Key specifications

• Length: 1.5 m
• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Supported cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, PC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid running it parallel and close to strong power sources to minimise interference. For installations where the cable passes through metal conduits, ensure proper grounding of shields where required.

Recommendations

Use this shielded Cat.6 cable for Gigabit Ethernet and AV links in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. For best performance, avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius, and terminate or ground shields according to your site’s cabling standards.
