Κάρτα δικτύου ROLINE 12.02.1166 Ethernet 1000 Mbit/s USB Type-C

The ROLINE 12.02.1166 is a wired network adapter with a USB Type-C connector that enables a PC or notebook with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (formerly USB 3.1 Gen 2) Type-C port to connect to a Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) network. The compact black adapter provides a cost-effective solution to add a 1000 Mbit/s Ethernet port to devices that lack a built-in RJ45 connector.

Advantages

This USB Type-C to Gigabit Ethernet adapter supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, ensuring high throughput and low-latency network connections. Its plug-and-play design simplifies installation on systems with supported drivers, and the 1.5 m cable length offers flexible placement. The slim black housing integrates unobtrusively with modern workstations and notebooks.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop or PC with USB Type-C to a wired Gigabit network
• Providing stable network access where Wi‑Fi is unavailable or unreliable
• Use in offices, home offices, conference rooms, and travel setups

Key specifications

• Interface: USB Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2 / USB 3.1 Gen 2)
• Network: 10/100/1000Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Maximum data rate: 1000 Mbit/s

How to use

Connect the adapter's USB Type-C plug to the device's USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, then attach an Ethernet cable to the adapter's RJ45 port and to the network. Most operating systems detect the adapter automatically; if required, install drivers from the device or chipset manufacturer. After connection, verify network settings on the computer and ensure link/activity LEDs (if present) indicate a connection.

Recommendations

For best performance, use a Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port on the host device. Keep the adapter and cable away from sources of electromagnetic interference and avoid excessive bending of the cable to maintain signal integrity.
