Κάρτα δικτύου DELOCK PCI Express x4 2,5 Gigabit LAN με 4x θύρες RJ45

DELOCK PCI Express x4 network card provides four 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a single add-in adapter, designed to expand wired connectivity for desktop systems with an available PCIe x4 (or larger) slot. The card brings multi-port 2.5GbE capability to servers, workstations, and network appliances, allowing higher-than-1Gbps throughput while maintaining low latency and reliable wired connections.

Advantages

The adapter offers four independent RJ45 ports supporting 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet speeds, enabling multiple simultaneous wired connections or aggregated links. Its PCI Express x4 interface ensures direct, low-latency access to system resources and supports deployment in compact or standard desktops. The design supports common networking tasks such as link aggregation and network segmentation while minimizing CPU overhead and providing backwards compatibility with 1 Gbps and 100 Mbps networks.

How to use

Install the DELOCK network card into an available PCIe x4 (or larger) expansion slot on a powered-off desktop or server following standard anti-static precautions. Secure the card with the bracket screw and connect network cables to the RJ45 ports. Power on the system and install any required drivers provided by the operating system or the card vendor. After driver installation, configure network interfaces in the host operating system: assign IP addresses, set up link aggregation or VLANs if needed, and verify link speed and activity using system network tools.

Recommendations

Use shielded Cat5e or Cat6 cables to achieve reliable 2.5Gbps links and place the card in a PCIe x4 or larger slot for full bandwidth. Confirm driver compatibility and, when aggregating links, ensure support on both the host OS and connected switch. For best thermal performance, avoid obstructing airflow around the card and consider low-profile or full-height bracket choice based on your chassis.
