The EFB Elektronik 691712VGR.50 rack cabinet is a 12U network cabinet designed for mounting IP security camera recorders, small switches and associated network equipment. With an internal width compatible with 19" mounting standards, a depth of 500 mm and a height of 600 mm, this grey cabinet provides a compact, organized enclosure for devices while supporting up to 50 kg of equipment. The IP20 rating offers protection from solid objects larger than 12 mm, and integrated cable management features help maintain tidy internal routing for power and network cabling.

Advantages

The cabinet's 12U rack capacity and 19" mounting feature make it compatible with standard network and security hardware. Its 600 mm width and 500 mm depth balance internal space with a small external footprint, suitable for limited installation areas. The IP20 enclosure protects equipment from casual contact and larger particulates, and the grey finish provides a neutral, professional appearance. Built-in cable management reduces clutter and simplifies maintenance and device changes.

Suitable for

• Small to medium IP camera installations and NVR mounting
• Network switches and PoE injectors for camera systems
• Edge networking equipment in offices, retail or server rooms
• Compact wiring closets and secured equipment enclosures

How to use

Install the cabinet in a suitable, level location that provides access to power and network cabling. Mount compatible 19" devices using the front and rear mounting rails, observing the 12U height limitation and the manufacturer's guidance for equipment weight distribution. Route power and Ethernet cables through the provided cable management openings to maintain airflow and service access. Ensure ventilation is adequate for heat-generating devices and that the total load does not exceed 50 kg.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, place heavier devices lower in the cabinet to improve stability, use cable ties or cable organizers to prevent strain on connectors, and verify that ventilation or active cooling is sufficient for devices with higher heat dissipation. Regularly inspect mounted equipment and cable routing to ensure secure connections and to prevent dust accumulation that could affect performance.
